Initiate
An annual conference hosted in Uganda focused on gender-based violence prevention, survivor-centred support systems, and strengthening community protection mechanisms. It convenes civil society organisations, local leaders, service providers, and policymakers to discuss practical approaches to prevention, response, and long-term social change.
The Justice Network
Hosted in Burundi, this program focuses on activism, civic participation, and human rights advocacy. It serves as a platform for activists, youth leaders, journalists, and civil society actors to exchange ideas on strengthening citizen engagement, promoting accountability, and advancing social justice movements.
Her Voice Summit
Held in Zambia, Her Voice Summit centres on women's leadership, empowerment, and inclusive participation in decision-making spaces. It highlights women-led innovation, leadership development, and economic empowerment while creating mentorship opportunities for emerging leaders across the region.
Safe Futures Forum
Safe Futures Forum focuses on child protection, safeguarding, and adolescent wellbeing. It brings together education actors, child rights advocates, social workers, and community leaders to strengthen systems that protect children and young people from harm, exploitation, and unsafe environments.
Community Resilience Exchange
Focused on community development, resilience-building, and sustainable local solutions. It promotes collaboration among practitioners working on livelihoods, local innovation, and resilience in vulnerable communities facing economic and environmental pressures across the region.
